Day One: 6k

I have decided that between today and my next birthday I am going to row a million metres. That is an average of 19.2 Kms a week. It's gonna take discipline, focus and ability to show up. It will be repetitive and probably boring as hell at times. Which is kind of why I'm doing it. Feels like a test.

I've been thinking about it as a thing for a while and decided to just try. I would also like to work up to a marathon distance row toward the end of the year. But that is a long way away.

I will probably sign up to raise some money for a charity and get some support. But that will happen in the new year. The first month is just turning up and getting the meters in.

I'll try and not talk about this too much. As a year of pictures ofrow ergs will be dull!!! Ha

A little rowing action happened this weekend. We had 24 rowers rowing on 4 teams of 4-5 people and 3 solos going for 25k in meters, totaling 175024 meters(24m came little Pryce). It was for awareness of mental health for our military veterans. Thank you christinajhansen for organizing it and gallantfew for putting it!
